Xinghua Municipal Government Holds an Expert Evaluation Meeting for Export Vegetable Safety Demonstration Zone and Passes Acceptance

On October 14th, the Xinghua Export Vegetable Safety Demonstration Zone in Jiangsu Province was evaluated by a provincial and municipal expert group and passed the acceptance assessment. The Xinghua Export Vegetable Planting Base has become a county-level administrative demonstration zone in Taizhou.

On October 14th, a group of 9 experts from the province and Taizhou city inspected and accepted the construction of the Xinghua Export Vegetable Safety Demonstration Zone in our city. After reporting the situation, reviewing the construction of the base, the operation system of the management system, and the control of agricultural inputs, and conducting on-site spot checks on 9 export enterprise bases in the core area, we reviewed the original accounts and relevant archives, as well as the use of pesticides. The experts ultimately evaluated that the "Jiangsu Xinghua Export Vegetable Safety Demonstration Zone" meets the relevant regulations and requirements of the province and passed the expert group review.

Before the end of the review meeting, Jiang Xuezhong, the leader of the acceptance team and Director of the Provincial Agriculture Commission, proposed five hopes for the future development of the dehydrated vegetable industry and demonstration zone base construction in our city. One is to accelerate the filing speed of enterprise bases in the core area. The second is to promote the share of enterprises' self operated exports. The third is to strengthen the supervision of inputs and enhance the ability to handle emergencies. The fourth is to improve the entire process management, extend management, and ensure seamless planting, production, transportation, and sales in our city. The fifth is to highlight brand building, strengthen and expand the industry.

Vice Mayor Gu Guoping participated in the entire evaluation activity of the expert group and, on behalf of the municipal government, effectively implemented the requirements put forward by the expert group, living up to the hopes of provincial and municipal leaders.

The member units of the Construction Management Committee of the Xinghua Outbound Vegetable Safety Demonstration Zone, as well as the leaders of the dehydrated vegetable industry association and nine core export base vegetable enterprises, participated in the review meeting.
